Ganesa Hindu god:
Ganesa or Ganapathy is a Hindu god who was a saint in human life. He was born on the day when the moon was at Uthiradam nakshatra position. He was a dedicated worshipper of Lord Siva. After his death, his soul obtained salvation and took place in the parivar of Lord Siva and called as Aadhi Ganapathy. Lord Siva declared his soul his first divine son among his parivar gods. But Lord Ganapathy was not a biological son of Lord Siva and Sri Parvathi Devi. Lord Siva and Sri Parvathi Devi attained their godly soul status about 25,000 years back. Lord Ganapathy attained godly soul status about 15,000 years back. Lord Murugar, a Rishi, achieved his divine soul status 10,000 years back.
In Lord Siva’s divine retinue, three categories of human souls obtained godly soul status/salvation from Lord Siva. The first category is the souls of saints and rishis, and the second category is the souls of Easwar title winners, including kings and devotees. The third category is the souls of warriors who were highly devoted to protective gods. Lord Siva appointed a separate leader for each category.
In the first category, there are mighty and strong Saints and Maharishis who obtained salvation in Lord Siva’s divine parivar. Such powerful saints’ souls are called Ganas (Gana means powerful, heavy, and strong). Siva Ganas means strong eternal human souls who attained their godly soul status by worshipping Lord Siva or any other Easwar gods. This term came from the combination of Gana and Adhipathi. Gana means mighty human soul. Adhipathi means a leader for some eternal human souls in a temple.
Gana – Adhipathi, in short, is “Ganapathy.” The first such Ganapathy titled godly soul, is called Aadhi Ganapathy or Kailasha Maha Ganapathy. Later, many saints and Rishis attained salvation either by worshipping the Lord Aadhi Ganapathy or Lord Siva, and their souls had obtained a similar divine title as Ganapathy. The Ganapathy titled eternal human souls are many, and such godly souls reside in many temples as an independent Ganapathy god, called Ganapathy temple. Many of them live in a separate moolasthanam in the Easwar god temples.

Which god is worshipped first in Hinduism?
In earlier times, many men left their families to worship Lord Siva without giving much importance to their family life, thinking that Lord Siva would grant salvation and accept them in his parivar. There is no correlation between salvation and having a family life. Salvation can be obtained by the cosmic energy support from the gods, for which one must worship the gods via energizing rituals, construction of temples, and practicing mantra chanting vibrations. These are called divine responsibilities.
Living a family life is the family’s responsibility to satisfy the needs of family members. The earlier saints were poor, and their life was unstable, and they roamed here and there without caring for their family members. But they desired for salvation. Hence, Lord Siva decided to stop such practices among men and motivate them to live a stable life with a family, work for the family, and take care of the family throughout their lives. Thus, Lord Siva chose a worship representation to motivate the human brain to develop both the characteristics, i.e., interest in nature/god/cosmos and stability in family life. In nature, the only life form available with all such characteristics is the elephant that lives with family as a group, stability, and nature oriented.
Lord Siva informed the saints and rishis, who had obtained siddhis to communicate with him, to promote the worship of “elephant head” idols which is the symbolic representation. The cosmic energy encircling the elephant head idol/portrait will induce the elephant’s life characteristics, such as living as a group, attachment with family, excellent stability, etc., to its worshippers. Lord Siva instructed Lord Ganapathy’s soul to present in such temples.

Who is Ganesa?
There are thousands of Ganas (i.e., strong human souls) in the divine retinue of Lord Kailasha Rudra Murthy and are referred to as Siva Ganas. Various Ganapathy gods perform divine blessings independently in many Ganapathy temples, and they form a big divine retinue under the Kailasha Aadhi Ganapathy. Or else they individually function under the divine retinue of Easwar gods’ temples.
The Ganapathy title is given to the eternal human souls who attained salvation through the Easwar gods or any other senior-most Ganapathy-titled gods. When an immortal human soul resides in the moolasthanam of an independent Ganapathy temple as a prime god, such a godly soul is called Lord Ganapathy. When an eternal human soul lives in a separate Garba-griha in an Easwar God temple as one of the gods under an Easwar god’s divine retinue, he is called and worshiped as Ganesha (Gana+ Esha).
The symbolism of lord Ganesa with elephant head:
The cosmic energy reflection from the picture of an elephant’s head: The cosmic energy particles (atom particles around us in the air) encircling any portrait/idol/object induces to reflect the same characteristics of idols/portraits in the viewer’s brain. It happens automatically without your realization, understanding, and knowledge. When the human brain notices anything significant, all its cells will try to multiply, the neurons’ network will grow big, and memory power will increase. This can be achieved by looking at the head of the elephant. An elephant’s head has 257 billion neurons in its brain. The human brain has comparatively lesser numbers of neurons.
The number of neurons in the human brain cells can increase by stimulating themselves if appropriately activated. This happens when anybody tries to use more brainpower, such as solving puzzles or imagining themselves strongly that their brain is growing to be a more significant size, etc. Thus, when a person looks at an elephant’s big head during worshipping, the cosmic energies encircling that elephant’s head will penetrate the worshipper’s or viewer’s brain. The human brain will absorb such cosmic energies, and the number of neurons in the human brain will develop more. It happens due to the reflection characteristics of cosmic energy.
More brainpower: The elephants can lift even big trees or logs without any hands and only with the help of a single trunk itself. A trunk does not have bones formed only by muscles and nerves. Imagine that you are trying to lift some heavy object through your imaginary extended nose without any bone support. If you focus on such a thought, you will find the degree of focus and brainpower required to do such a challenging task. It will be a spectacular action! Thus, when you look at an elephant’s head, your brain’s focusing power will increase automatically.
